ヨーガ・スートラ2-40

【2-40】　清浄の戒行を守る時、人は自己の肉体に対して嫌悪の情を抱くようになり、まして他人の身体に触れたりはしなくなる。

Purity (shaucha) results in the abandonment of physicality and the cessation of physical contact with external things. ||40||　　

<解説>洗ってもぬぐっても、身体の汚れはとり去りきることができないことを知るからである。
